About Your Teacher :)

Linn Angell is a qualified teacher with a bachelor's degree in language studies and Norwegian as a second language, and has worked as a Norwegian language teacher for more than 10 years. She is approved by HK-dir and follows the official curriculum for Norwegian language and social studies for adult immigrants, ensuring professional and goal-oriented language instruction.

In addition to her educational background, Linn has specialized in higher consciousness learning and is currently completing a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Oslo. Through her intuitive and human-centered teaching approach, she combines academic quality with safety, motivation, and personalized support, helping students develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed in Norwegian and integrate into Norwegian society.

B1 Oral Norwegian & Social Studies – Starting August 10th.

I am launching a new B1 Oral Norwegian course combined with Social Studies, starting on August 10. The course runs for 2 months with classes held twice per week and is designed for learners who want to develop their language skills, vocabulary, and understanding of Norwegian society through a holistic, intuitive, and practical approach.

We will work with spoken communication, conversations, Social Studies topics, vocabulary, and language comprehension in a safe and supportive learning environment. The course can help prepare you for the Norwegian Language Test (Norskprøven), the Social Studies Test, and the Citizenship Test.

Classes take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, from August 10 to September 30.

Price: NOK 4,900 for the full course.

  • This course is designed for adults who want to improve their spoken Norwegian at the B1 level, prepare for the Norwegian Language Test, or feel more confident in everyday, social, and workplace conversations. It is also suitable for participants who wish to combine Norwegian language learning with Social Studies.

  • The course starts on August 10 and runs for 2 months, with classes held twice per week. Lessons take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

  • Intuitive teaching is about meeting each student where they are and adapting the learning experience to their individual needs, goals, and learning style. In addition to language development, we focus on confidence, motivation, communication, and practical language use. The goal is to create a supportive learning environment where learning feels meaningful, engaging, and relevant to everyday life.

  • B1 Oral Norwegian focuses on developing the ability to communicate confidently in Norwegian in everyday life, the workplace, and social situations. Social Studies provides knowledge about Norwegian society, working life, democracy, rights, and responsibilities.

    This course combines both areas and can help prepare participants for the Norwegian Language Test (B1 Oral), the Social Studies Test, and the Citizenship Test, while also developing practical language skills and greater confidence in navigating Norwegian society.

  • The course is practical, interactive, and conversation-based. We work with spoken communication, vocabulary, pronunciation, social studies topics, and relevant themes from everyday and working life in Norway. The goal is to create a safe learning environment where participants actively use the language and build confidence through practice.

  • 1:1 Norwegian Lessons

    You can receive personalized one-to-one lessons tailored to your goals, needs, and schedule. Lessons are available during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends.

    A single lesson (45 minutes) costs NOK 450. We can work on speaking skills, writing skills, grammar, pronunciation, preparation for the Norwegian Language Test, Social Studies, or general language development.
